The Bass is Killing Me

By Dwight Davis on April 22, 2012 10:58 pm

Well, I decided something. The fact that my mic is absolute crap isn't going to stop me from doing awful-sounding vocals smile
This may be my favorite week so far. My Sunday procrastination sessions aren't usually this good, in my opinion. But, what do you think?
Also, my headphones are beginning to have issues, where the panning and stuff is messing up. Sad face. If some of the mixing on this song is a bit off, that's probably why.

Very nice job with the vocals! I gotta remix this sometime! For sure one of your best! That verse adds a lot to it also!

Heck yeah! I'll shoot you over the files when you want them.

wow! I really like this. congrats!

Sorry, but it did stop you doing awful-sounding vocals cos they turned out nice smile Got a bit messy for a moment there but it made sense later on in the track.

This is really cool! Very well crafted & put together, and the vocals turned out great!

The track comes together well.  Dig the filthy bass.

Thanks guys! I didn't think the vocals were that good at all, but I'd like to incorporate more in my songs.

This is killer!  Great work... heavy and well produced.  Love the vox... they make the track!

Nice.... drums a little bit burried at times.  Cool snare later on

Thanks! I do need to work on my drum mixing a lot more. Sometimes I let drums slip through the cracks on my Sunday procrastination sessions.

great track
