Sleigh Ride

By Dwight Davis on December 9, 2012 11:50 pm

This has been one heck of a bumpy sleigh ride. I worked my butt off today trying to work out all the notes in the second part of this song, only to realize I had run out of time. So, what you see here is but a mere preview of what is to be. I will release full versions of all of my Christmas music in like a week, so it will be better then. Until then, however, I leave you with this rushed, really short song.

As an update on my Christmas music, I am planning on releasing a bit of an album/EP next Sunday-ish. I want to use this as an opportunity to practice going back over my music to edit it, making it better. Also, I want to have a nice palette of my skill/style in music, I would love to supply this to some of my friends, and for nostalgia, because the Christmas EP I made last year (it sucked, check it out on Grooveshark) was much of what inspired me to do WB. I will post the link to my music after it's done. I'll probably put it on Bandcamp for download, and places like Soundcloud and Grooveshark for listening. If you enjoy my Christmas music, come back in a week to see it finished. Also, realize that the final versions will be quite different from the WB versions (especially We Three Kings, which I changed nearly everything in). Thanks!

smile Love this stuff!  Great interpretation.

They need to be playing this shiz in super markets!  I'd buy my xmas pudding on special to this.

cTrix, I can't tell if that's a compliment or not, lol. I've known supermarket music to be infamous in quality

I like how the lead sort of goes back and forth between the ears. Is nice. This nice. You nice.
