I made an attempt at a dubstep-like tune this week. I enjoy the random, crazy style of some dubstep songs, and I took inspiration from those. I had a major time crunch (3 hours), but I'm proud it came out as well as it did. Still, three hours meant I couldn't perfect this song much. Please leave some constructive criticism so that I can figure out how to suck less.

This is great. Sounds like a folk tune superimposed on a pounding bass synth thing. I have no idea how dubstep works, nor even what it is. I kind of assume it's not this melodic though. big_smile

Sounds pretty solid.  Some distortion / amp modelling / tape saturation on the synths will make them more analogue.

Sweet, I like how it sounds like the lead is so far above everything. At least on my headphones it sounds like it is physically above everything... Idk. But the dubstep parts are pretty sweet!
