Geometry - Part II

By Dwight Davis on September 9, 2012 10:16 pm

I made a sequel to my song "Geometry" because I really liked it, and I've always wanted to do a sequel song. Unfortunately, my first attempt crashed without saving, which put me on a major time crunch to produce this. I think it turned out decent, but the original sounded better. It's a bit sloppy, but I plan to go back and redo it sometime. Please comment with your opinion, as criticism only helps me get better. Also, I wanna know what to change when I redo this song.

Ahh man, that sucks dude, I know that sinking feeling when everything just crashes and burns... But I think that this track is actually really rocking, absolutely killer when it all kicks in!

Dude, I raged for like a half hour. I felt like smashing my laptop into a wall.

Man, doesn't sound rushed. Well done.  Maybe the quick take on this gave it spontaneity.

Sounds awesome! I still think a bit too much distortion but that is really up to you. I really liked that synth near the second climax that rose and fell between two or three notes.

This is great. Its really layered but also very simple and enjoyable too.
