Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Another busy week at work, another busy weekend, life, etc. Tried a bunch of things but couldn't find anything interesting on OP-1 or M8. After trying to brute force it for a while, I pivoted to Dronage Terminal. Messed around with it a bit and recorded this one fairly quick. It's real easy to make some excellent drones in that little program. Highly recommend checking it out.
The audio mastering and video edit took way longer because I was trying to do everything at the same time in Davinci Resolve. The audio kept messing up in the render, and I had a bunch of plugins and effects on that made re-exporting super slow. There's still a couple pops in there, but I don't have the time to go in and fix them anymore. They are simply part of it now. Find them all and win a prize!
The title sounds kind of ominous but it actually refers to riding a black mountain bike trail, which I did for the first time today! Black ones are the most difficult, or.. as difficult as they can get in a flat country like the Netherlands. A very rewarding experience nontheless, I really want to go ride it again soon.

I'm a fan of drones and a long time mountain biker. Especially downhill so I've ridden a bunch of black runs. So much fun.
