The Tides at Blue Moon

By DrumurBoy on September 2, 2012 10:59 pm

Anyone else notice that people  start to act really crazy around full moons and even crazier when blue moons happen?

Drivers in particular.

Here is a picture of my makeshift rhythm sheet, follow along if you dare.

Update. Didn't notice i hit a wrong note untill after i uploaded so here is the corrected version if you want to hear it.

Sounds cool... nice contrast between the frenetic drums and mellower guitars.  Then it all pulls together in the middle.  And excellent guitar production as always. What kind of notation is that in the photo?  Not familiar with it.

Wow - lovely sound man.  And tight playing as always.

@ NWSPR The x's in the notation are a note and the dashes are muted non notes. Everything is in 16th notes and 4/4 timing but they're odd note groupings, this was way easier to follow when doing double tracks and bass.

Thanks sirTrix!

Your production is awe striking, it always sounds so clean and well put together. The clean guitars are particularly amazing. Very nice

I love the second section ... guitar in the distance sailing me away with it!
Would love to hear more like this smile
(been listning to a bit of Ahab recently too, Guitars delay 4 lyfe big_smile)

yes, very nice production. I'm assuming you line in your guitar... what processing did you use, or did you line out of a pedal or amp head?

1 on tiasus comments. Lush clean guitar sound.

The clean was running direct in through my mixer ,then through the Lextac amp sim which is free here http://lepouplugins.blogspot.ca and guitarhack cab impulse. Really sparkly sounding. All the guitar processing vst's i use are freeware ,so have at them if you'd like.

loving the rhythms of this track.  those highhats pull it all together with those double bass
