Seeds

Hi everyone! I cannot even begin to convey what a crazy, draining, ridiculously wonderful week it has been...fighting tooth and nail to keep up with the voting in the Euro Music contest. I'm amazed, delighted and grateful to say that my friends and I got through - Dr. Mindflip will be representing Ireland in the European pre-finals!
Thank you all so much for the inspiration and support - this community has been such an incredible source of motivation and challenge for me. I look forward to taking a serious step back from all of the online voting madness and catching up with all of your creations from the last few weeks - can't wait!
A few of you seemed to enjoy the quieter side of me that precipitated through the recent stresses, so here is another more delicate track (complete with a few twitchy piano moments...oops) - Hope you all enjoy it and have a great week!
Seeds:
Hope comes dressed in strange forms
Makes children of us all
And I follow deep
Through shallow sleeps
But you don't respond at all
How I long to hear your funeral shoes
On the stairway
But I just have your woodland blues
Shuffling to me across the airwaves
Just like everyone else
I'm grateful that these tiny wars
Made ribbons of my pride
To tie around your shivering house
And keep the warm inside
I waited so long to hear your funeral shoes
On the stairway
So glad to see the merry moods
And midnight hues we share today
Right next to me
As we skip like stones from our winter homes
And embrace amongst the leaves
Thanks for listening! Have a free album (or two) and find me on Facebook
