I realized the power of recording sounds with the M8 on this one. The Foley sounds I made turned out to be the best sounds in the arrangement, IMHO.  Power drills and e-bikes, FTW.

This is my third submission in about 2 months, and I'm realizing the weekly cadence is a bit beyond my skill level and speed though - it's something to aspire too, but not very achievable for me at the moment. I need to work on some more fundamentals and have lots of tools to learn, but will still submit as often as I can manage.

This hits hard! Love the dark vibe. I haven't used the mic on my M8 yet but this is inspiring me to give it a go. Sound design is on point smile

It's really eye opening to me how the few knobs on the sampler engine can reshape a recording into something that I'd be hard pressed to create from scratch with a synth. Feels like a major new ability is unlocked.
