Purple Pill

I've been asked by an animator woman from amsterdam to create a tune for her upcoming animation showcase that embeds certain stylistic elements of music artists "mouse on mars" and "neon indian". The track is basically finished. But I am still tweaking bits and pieces to make it fit to her video later. There was a vocal part planned, but it didn't arrive in time for the weekly beats challenge. I am either going to embed it later and make a special vocal edit on or just leave it - either way is fine, I think. I guess that's one of the challenges as a producer, having to improvise with the material you have if you can't expect someone to deliver something really on time. In the end of the track, I created a choir out of multiple layered synthesizer instances (massive, fm8, absynth) that are supposed to sound like little creatures. I think it loosens up the ending a little bit.
p.s.: left some additional beeps for you at the end so you can sample them with your DAT recorders and make your own music with it ![]()
