Drunk Cherry

By dreat on February 8, 2026 10:31 pm

I had grand plans for this week. And it flew by, with me making good progress... not with WB submission. I had to rush it to finish, so I ended up with something... let's say that I'm not proud of.

But at least I tested and learned a few things. And managed to finish song this week. That's all success big_smile

You finished a track so you should be proud!

It's some some manic energy. It's kind of proggy and crazy.

I agree the energy here is fun and a little woozy.  I get it probably doesn't feel to you like your best work, but there's nothing to be ashamed of here.

I like it, kind of like being late to work and rushing in but getting stuck at a stoplight energy lol

Progress is progress! And you keeping your (now expected) non-typical time signatures is great practice, too. That final short solo's got a bit of Polish folk music vibes.

Progress is progress, I agree! And thanks, that was probably my first written (melodic) solo ever. But it's not the first time I write something sounding with a bit of Polish folk music vibes. Maybe I should embrace it, I always felt that those lines feel too cheesy (but I have not connected them to Polish folk thou). You gave me something to think about big_smile
