Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

the string is...a synth?! so pure, nice contrast to the bitcrushy bass instrument for me. definitely gives me 32-bit sidescrolling epic castlevania-esque kind of vibes.

Yeah 
Almost feels like cheating though because actually the default M8 FMSynth patch makes up almost all of the sound. It's just that plus a volume ADSR and reverb. Found out this week that it gives a great string and/or brass sound.
