DIRGE RIDDIM

By Dot.AY on January 28, 2024 7:29 am

Final of the dancehall tracks and I returned to old faithful LSDJ for week 4 - got an opportunity to write out the melody on the one train journey I took this week and pulled it together as a live mode take with reverb and minimal post processing (think it could get fleshed out a bit more with more sections and variation but again as the intention is to be an instrumental with a vocal this would actually be fine as is - maybe an outro)

January done!! Damn son

Didn't think I'd be hearing LSDJ riddim today. It works weirdly well! Always enjoy the uncertainty before drums kick in and you're not sure where the downbeat will fall.

fantastic! love the dark and heavy vibe and the extended intro really lends to the buildup to the drop smile

Gameboy through reverb is always where it's at! Love the break part!

heart LSDJ

your style is still quite evident here. I'm starting to recognize the dot.ay sound. Nice one this week mate

bouncy!

Classic LSDJ never disappoints, love that bass

loving the use of the slinky notes in this track

Very large Gameboy sounds. We love to see it.
