The tracks are getting shorter and sundays are coming quicker :\

Tried a slightly different thing this week and made the breaks much more subtle and basicaly lent into a half time feel. Also wanted a spooky child singing sample (grabbed royalty free) - it's been fun playing with this but still feel like I'm not quite hitting what I want - its fun though and I guess thats the main thing

The 1:07 break is so cool, love the gliding bits. The spooky child sounds like something out of Twin Peaks, e.g. talking backwards maybe? This works really well with the rest of the vibe.

Spookytunes should be the theme of 2024. Really good stuff!

Yeah I think its using the M8 reverse pp playback mode because I didn’t understand the language of the original sample I thought reversing it to take out any unintended meaning 😅

This is 2 spooky 4 me, very big sounds but I am scared thx

the first hit of the “snare” sample cracked me up because of how distorted / noisy it is – really effective here

great big lumbering bass that works well with the halftime feel

Scary, Love it dude. That shit at 52 secs or so is haunting AF
This piece of music feels like it has a function beyond just listening for fun; like a bit of suiting video editing or gameplay to accompany it. WD
