Noises For Humans

A few months ago my mom bought me a cheap white noise machine online. It's very crappy but it has a headphone jack out and humorously, 8 sliders on top to bring in the volume of noise and recordings. You can make a mix of white noise, thunderstorms, waves crashing, nighttime bugs, as well as musical drones like bells and weird voice-like instruments.

Today I felt like making some ambient, lofi noise. I recently bought a plugin called Exp Filtertable that's really fun and incredible. I passed the white noise machine through multiple filtertables to color the noise in an interesting way, and then used my favorite reverb plugin Lair by Aberrant DSP. Then I hit record and just started messing around with the sliders on the box. I like how at parts it sounds fairly dungeon synth-y

Fun way to spend a few minutes and also record something for WB. Only a few weeks less y'all, we got this!

You're taking us on quite a journey with this white noise machine! Very cool way to use it!
