Week 1

I wasn't particularly inspired for this first week. It's quite a short submission, though I think it's long enough. It could easily have been extended, but it would just have involved copy and pasting the same things a bit more so I decided against it.
I like messing around with harmony so for the middle section I developed the simple chord structure from the opening of the song. The melody was played live on the computer keyboard as I didn't have a regular keyboard to hand. I don't tend to write melodies but rather improvise over a harmonic structure. Hopefully participating in Weakly Beats will force me more to stick with something for a "final" version of a song rather than what I normally do which is to leave gaps in my music for live performance.
