Greetings from Germany! This is not the song i wanted to upload but something else. Cooked in Finland, birthed in Berlin. Songs name comes from the very place where we are having our hotel right now.

Gear used: Analog 4, LXR Drum Machine, Octatrack, iVCS3 and Dreadbox Erebus, editing in Ableton Live.

this really gets into a nice groove. I'm enjoying the repetition, lo-fi sound and slight digital (?) distortion, whether it's unintentional or not. great stuff!

Ooh, I really enjoyed the first part, but then the mood change about 2/3 of the way in really got me. Good stuff heart

awesome! Really evolves at a nice pace. That distortion sizzle is delicious.

"_sounds_" german if that makes any sense?  rad meditation music heh.

Makes sense that it sounds german! Been lately listening lots of old German stuff. Might continue this style for a bit.

excellent dark/stark atmosphere. i agree the mood change at 2/3 in is powerful. korrekter style alter, sagt der ausgewanderte!

Amazing stuff, great sounding synths. Curious to know: how did you use the Octatrack? I'm also using one recently mostly for live performance, but I want to use it more in the studio as well.

Thank you!

It was mostly just tracking eight tracks on it to keep everything out of computer for as long as possible. Some tracks i re-recorded in octa again to neighbouring track to get the tracks easily out as wavs with effects/cuts/sequences. Im still noobing around on it, will try something new with techniques this week!

ooh this is quite hypnotic! 8o

Any chance that you were at the Ableton Loop Summit this past year?

Heh no, how come?

Ohhhhh Cool Stuff smile

Really cool stuff. The second half is really awesome. Epic!

BTW Would you recommend the Magic Potions LXR drum machine? I'm served on drums but I'd love to build the kit and it's also open source. Looks terrific

Thanks everyone!

It was super nice kit to build, I messed up only once with screen, but got it working. As an instrument it has some pretty neat features sequencer-wise, and I do really like the sound of it. Some people have made it sound more as of a synth too, digging the Elektron-style parameter locks.
