Take the road to the desert where the trees burns...

Or something like that.

A pop/rock song, started that when I did borrow Bertrude bassman one of his bass doing 2 strings chords that I found fun...

Recorded 2 vocal tracks of Bertrude material last week and it worked fairly well so I asked Mitch if he wanted to freestyle on that bass riff. I even had time to track drums that evening for this track. Then trying to work on this so it sounds almost "tight". Added more guits, piano and stuff so it doesn't get too boring. Then got really tired on working on that so I just put a limiter so it is loud and printed the track.

That was a tough week, didn't work on other songs than this one (except for a little of Bertrude stuff). I find that I worked a lot for the results, but it is not that bad. Not sure on what I will work next but it is what it is.

Pretty happy Mitch sign, so I don't have to hear myself (plus he really can sing, no autotune on his vocals... lol)

Sweet, I love how this all sounds. The lyrics are really cool and the raw live sound is pretty new for me. The reverbed piano is a great touch.

J'aime vraiment le call and response panning sur la guit!! Tout sort vraiment vraiment bien sur mes moniteurs, tight mix! pis la track est super chill! heart

damn man nice work on this, sounds really good.  Very cool sound with the full band.

Fun part about the left right guitars is I did that because I was not able to do clean chords transitions, so I did different recordings. I really like how it sound too. Merci!

The full band being me/myself and I... The only thing that is not from me on this tune is the vocals. It was all overdubs.

Very happy you liked it.

F ya! This is great man. I saw that you did the panning since you couldn't do clean chord transitions and that is fucking amazing. Overall great job! Piano at the end gives a great somber feeling.

I love how you can hear the articulation of the bass strings at the beginning of the track. The vocals and lyrics are great too man! They fit the vibe of the music really well.

I'm so happy to have participated in the recording of this track with you, buddy!

Cool track.  I love how that clean sounding bass seems to pop right out of the mix.

You can congratulate ZaP (Mitch) for the pretty cool vocals.
