On track

I was able to put a little more time into this week track than last one... smile YAY.

I started with the piano, then drum, bass electric, guitars and vocals.

I am slowly getting used to play drums on the electric drums and still find this kind of frustrating. Too much choices, easy to move stuff after I played, I am fiddling more with listening to presets/tweak patches then I do play drums... It is ok, I will not complain but it is easy to get lost with that many choices.

The good news is that guitarist of Bertrude just ordered a soundcard so he can track from home, so more Bertrude production will be done on the following weeks, which is very nice. smile. The 4 of us now have something to record at home, so we will try to do some progress on the next album.

Next song might even be a Bertrude one. smile

or maybe not... we will see.

Have an excellent week all.

Rock!

Yeah, sometimes too much choice is paralyzing.  It's like staring at the menu on netflix and having no idea what to watch.  That nasty guitar that comes in around the minute mark is awesome.

Yo Djippy. This turned out rad. I really like your "turn it up to 11" vibes. I feel that decision paralysis crap though. Stoked to see that you're gonna do virtual collaboration with buds. That's awesome!

The overdrive on the guitar is fucking sick. Great track man.

analysis paralysis.  happens to the best of us.  Sounds like you made the right decisions though, this sounds great.  Nice heavy guitar tone towards the end.

The hardest part of art is in narrowing down those choices, only to find out it didn't really matter all that much in the end. Sometimes the best way to deal with choice paralysis is to flip a coin.

The drums are fine and the piano is nice, though the guitar comes on a bit too strong at the end.

a solid mix, the drums sound great. really digging the fuzzy guitar at the end

lovin this, the flow is perfect...got an uneasy and eerie feeling to it, in a good way

an excellent recording. Love that wild guitar at the end, too.

I like the key work on this track. Its catchy. Good to hear youve given the Roland another shot! It is amazing what you can get done with them, but completely understand what you mean.

Bringing the house DOWN with that distortion!  Love it.

Woa, that guitar coming in towards the end is absolutely huge. Very cool mix overall heart

Spooky little track. Would be a cool opening track to a dark indie film with lots of dark stuff haha! Have fun!

Sounds like a livetrack!
Excellent.

Damn that fuzzed out guitar cuts like a chainsaw!

I was really tuning into those haunting vocals in the background and then BAM! distortion. Great stuff!
