Les oiseaux au loin

Tight deadline for this one!

I cannot process yet if it is decent or not, but I have to stop now...

Some electric guitar, was recorded with a condenser in front of the guit as well, do like the acoustic sound.

Some punchy acoustic drums next, Quick edits, then a fun synth and a quick improvised vocal pass. Sorry, no real mix on this one.
Maybe 2,5 hrs for this one.

Voilà!

this track has cool passion to it: there is a restrained sense of tortured pain, boiling violently beneath the surface, while the song sounds sweetly melancholic... almost peaceful... a beautiful juxtaposition heart

the mix and the recording sounds awesome and fully organic as ever. is it pure tristesse you are singing about or do I also hear a little hope left in your voice? for shure your track has a melancholic beauty.

The synth adds a nice sense of lushness that contrasts well with the slightly raw feel of the rest of the track.  Agree there's a sense of weariness and melancholy that comes through as well.

Je crois que je suis fatigue mais avec le theme, y a quelque chose qui m'evoque Aux Sombres Heros de l'Amer, de Noir Desir. Mais en une version accoustique et un peu plus raw. Mais y a quelque chose. smile

Warm, organic, and grungy. It conveys a perfect blend of melancholy and optimism. I love the kid's voice naturally integrated at the end. Très bien smile

Great guitar tone and riffs. The raw mix works well with the stripped down arrangement.

It is nice for me to read your feedback on the track. Didn't really recorded it with that intent but I am happy if this is the kind of feelings that comes from it.

I was back from camping at a place where there was loads of birds, so started a song about that (mostly bird migrations), It was mostly improvised vocals and it made me think about refugees as well, families that have to go. So yes a sad theme.

Really like the textures of that juno 106 plugin clone that I did use on a couple of my tracks this year. It fits well with what I do.

Je connaissais pas la track de Noir Desir, je suis en train d'écouter ça. Ben ca pourrait être pire que de se faire comparer a Noir Désir. Ils ont fait plusieurs bonne pièces. Merci!

Thanks!

Excellent raw and emotional feels in this track.  Especially with your vocals and drums.  Thank you again for your recent kind words.  \m/
