Je dirais que c'est vraiment les synths et les samples de TR505 qui sont coupables pour l'esthétique 80's.

yes but we can laugh at that monster and make what is scary silly & say NO you will not get the better of me

if you did not read the harry potter books - the kids defend against the fear monster than took shape as their worst fears to feed on them by laughing it at it and making the fear into something silly & the teacher was a warewolf who's friends would change into animals to keep him from hurting humans while the moon was full
