Beugelsdijkje

By Djeroek on January 8, 2016 2:05 am

Long time ago in a land far, far away I struggled through an electro-acoustic study. One of teh courses included the schools analogue studio full custom-build wizard boxes 'causing one to jizz on sight. During one of the long edging patch sessions on 06 10 2006, I've recorded sounds from which this arrangement is finally build in Renoise. I imagine cyborgs freestyling on this moody boom-bap instrumental. Hopefully I can find time to do more with the recordings, harddisk sectors hardly touched..so much data, so little time...

Great array of timbres/blips intertwining here and with 51 weeks there's a lot of time to get into old material.

Reminds me of monolake and I believe that to be a very high compliment.

lots of nice things happening in there

Thanks for the words guys!

I've put up a downloadable, slightly altered song file version on the Renoise site (stripped from commercial vst's) for if one would like to remix or rip some samples. You'll need Renoise 3.1; http://forum.renoise.com/index.php/files/download/366-beugelsdijkje-stripped-of-some-vst-version/

Quite simply brilliant - excellent track.
