THE OBSEQUIOUS THOROUGHBRED

By dj someguy on January 26, 2020 4:56 pm

This week I spent a lot of time working on something that in the end didn't come together.
So then I just started playing around and ended up with this piece. Which, to my surprise kinda holds up.
Made it completely in Ableton.

I just tested it and you can actually mix it in an odd house-mix ...

Anyway. Am looking forward to hearing your music

And also: quick question: In three weeks time I will be travelling through India and it will be difficult to upload my tracks. Any idea on how/what to do?

Very nice shadowy/mysterious mood, impeccable percussion/noise work! The minimal approach with the delayed synth lead brings a great color heart

A mysterious mood indeed. Rhythms are engaging!

The not planned things are most often the best!
This is great... like sneaking through an alien spaceship smile I think of red and green light automatic doors which open and close with some hydraulic smoke and all kind of machines doing their mysterious things.
Rythm is indeed engaging as it is... no need for house drums in my opinion... but i guess i would have liked that too wink
Don't know nothing about india...
If you don't find a internet connection  please upload a combined track when you're back. I really like to hear what this journey bring up in you musically smile
Have good trip!

Post a message in the help thread and maybe you can get a late upload link from the mods.

Great development over time - have a great trip!  Pop over to Sri Lanka if you can wink

This turned out great, love the industrial minimal feel of it, the quiet melody that starts things off sets the mood and works well with the sounds.  You can find internet connections all over India, shouldn’t be a problem uploading tracks.  If you are going to be making music from iPhone or iPad that can get a bit tricky, but can still be done.

Would love to go to Sri Lanka. but I ll be more in the Jaipur region. Though if all goes well, Sri Lanka might well be my next trip.
