Ah man, as i heard the first four chord stabs i was a bit disapointed cause they seemed a bit generic...
BUT THEN
this track triggered some memories about long gone summernights... and suddendly I understand what you said about balearic house, a term wich i didn't know...
The progresion and the variations are quite nice.
You really mastered this genre and surly I would have had it on my summer playlist, no mix CD, 20 years ago

Hey, i get that disappointment. I hesitated a long time before postpone this track and i am still in dubio about t. Especially the beginning is very “commercial”, though i Also find that it gets better along the way. And it is one of the Nice things about weekly beats: there is always a next week to do better or differently. So who knows? Maybe i ll go all experimental on your ass this week as a counterbalance )
Or maybe it is time to put that hiphop track out )

Hey, i am not entiteit sure what lakes it baldadig, but i’d say those chords sounds quite typically baldadig and overall i think the feel of the track is a bit summery, no?
That being said: i am not an expert on the matter ...  it is Nice that WB let s you explore different genres
