SHOREDITCH STROLL

By dj someguy on July 7, 2016 6:47 pm

Some improvisation while being abroad. This one is entirely software-based. I struggled with the bass, that doesn't quite sound exactly the way I wanted it to be, even slightly out of tune ... Or is that just me?
Nevertheless, quite happy about this one.
Hope you like it too!

Maybe very slightly out of tune, but I think you could play it off as intentional dissonance.  It doesn't sound bad to my ears.  The beat is quite catchy.

Very enjoyable, I really like the rhythmic percussion that comes in midway, track kind of reminds me of broker/dealer

Thanks!
LIstened to it again and the off-key bass grows on me smile

Cool! Thanks for the compliment. I have one record of broker/dealer, on Spectral Sound. Is their other stuff also good?

Catchy - bass is great. Good track.

Real power & punch. Faved.

Being in key is overrated.

Thanks guys! Very much appreciated! smile

Slick rhythms, especially with the accented hi-hats and extra percussion.  Nice work! smile

+1 on those hihats!!! You really know how to make your techno beats sound powerful and alive

I think I agree with Laguna, your beats are always powerful. I think the bass is a little out of tune tho. Or maybe you just have to detune the pad in the back a little bit? Nice jam tho my friend!
