Yesterday for the first time since the lockdown I had a gig again, a social distancing kinda afternoon event. Felt so good to be behind the decks again ... It inspired me to make this playful yet slightly gloomy house track.
hope you like it.

nice! feels good to slowly get back to work, at least for some of us :v
love how the soft pads sit against the very intricate 808 programming

That’s great glad you got to play for some people, I’m back to work full time now again, which is good, but do miss hanging out with the kids all day.  Like the stuttering on the snare and the crisp hihats with the subtle pads/synth.

Congrats!  wish i was at a show of yours!  If there is any footage of you doing a show, please let me know

stutter-scratch is dope

nice and smooth, this is. well done.

diversified and entertaining track, like it a lot

Thanks! I like the track too. Lowered the bass on the kick and bass pads and it opened up the track a bit more.

Yeah, I am still careful about hanging out too much with friends but life seems to be returning
Back to normal. Ish.

No, I don t think so. Well, there is like a 1 minute video of a dj set of mine in Bratislava a few years ago, but apart from that I am not that famous that people shoot videos of me playing and I never did any marketing myself. Hence why I am a small shrimp still in an ocean of musicians. That and the fact that obviously there are a lot of more talented artists out there who should deserve the spotlights more smile

Thanks. I am not too unhappy about this either. Changed the kick and bass slightly afterwards and I think some
Sounds could do with some more productioning, but it is not the worst of my tracks smile thanks for listening

Thanks so much, I got a comment recently from a guy saying that my tracks are boring and too repetitive so it tried as an exercise to have some more variation.

Talent is not a prerequisite for hogging spotlight; just look at any of the famous people who famous for things like being rude to other people on reality TV shows!

FURTHERMORE

"Spotlight" is not a limited resource - the world is big enough for work by random high school punk rock bands, Beethoven, Taylor Swift, one-hit-wonders, and of course, DJ Someguy!
