LEFTRIGHT

hi all,
so i made this track in two times : Started off as a techno track, ended up being a deep house thingy.
I'm wondering though whether it holds up as a track?
And also: whether it is véry disturbing that the bass coming in is in a different key than the initial synth tone (that then fades out smile )

I actually preferred that the bass came in on a different key.  That's a good trick and you should use it more often!  Regarding holding up as a track, it depends on if you like thinking of it as a very chill/minimal track or it could be a great interlude on an album between two real bangers!

Yeah I liked when the bass kicked in and being in a different key wasn't an issue at all.  Works as a track for me!

It may be just my hearing, but the bass didn't register as another key at all. Nice interplay between the bass and the clanky percussion.

Damn that bass is sticking in my head... Just went for a coffee a realized that i am humming that melody smile
Totally nice!

To me the bass sounds great with the track, like the use of the panning on the percussion

Ah, really? That's nice to hear, though smile
I actually changed the track a bit this week, adding a Reese bass under the current bassline and taking a -6db on all sounds beneath 120hz.
Sounds a lot better now smile

Ah that's lovely to hear. It sounds pretty amazing to me that somewhere far away (well ... kinda far away) in Germany, someone is humming some tune I cooked up in my li'l studio ... It kinda makes me proud and especially very happy smile

Thanks Jason, appreciate it !

Intro reminded me of Auscultation. Recommended if you do not know the guy. I also liked how deep the piece was smile

Thanks man! I indeed do not know Auscultation but Will definitely check it out! Thanks !

Excellent driving beat with the synths.  Especially fond of those swirling synth pads underneath the bass.  Nice job!

That first part is dope. The second I'm not entirely about. It's like hypnotic feeling you were building up went away as u introduced the bass. But good stuff.
