DHARMA BUM

Have been sick the whole week, so this is my fever-infested weekly track. It is way too long, so I'd suggest after 5 mins you just stop listening.
Somewhat minimal and surprisingly frivolous for a guy who's been travelling from sofa to bed and back ...
Used MFB522 again, and some DIVA, aswell as Canadian Boards in ableton.

Nice groove, inventive soundscape.

Thanks Jim!

Nice, very rich sounding. I could imagine a nice low bass and/or subtle evolving pad really rounding it out. Though for reall, stellar percussive sounds! Diggin' it!

Thanks a lot man, appreciate it!!

This is fantastic, has a bit of an old school feel to it, I've been listening to a lot of orbital lately, kind of has some of that sound to it, didn't feel the track was too long

Thanks Jason, that's a nice compliment! I remember seeing Orbital at a rock festival (Rock Werchter or Pukkelpop) when I was 14, it was one of the bands that initiated. me into the world of electronic music, I even had a poster of them (and one of The Orb) in my room. So very happy with this comment! Thanks!

I agree with Jason it def had that early 90s Orbital feel to it, which is awesome I love Orbital smile  The percussion with the pulsing kick drum keeps the track moving (even after 5mins!) I hope you're feeling better this week! smile

To be honest: just listened to the track again, and it sounds different than i remembered it ... Then again: for a feverfilled jam, it could have been worse :-

Thanks D, means a lot coming from you!

More cowbell please! Ha great track man. Drums really do it for me. Particularly, the little soft hits in there(not sure what to call them).

Also, is that pad synth in the back from Ableton? I swear it sounds like Analog.
