I wonder if it's the Mellotron, but this gave me the vibes of one of the old English horror/thriller movies from the 70s where everyone is stylish but there's probably cult activity and the blood is purplish-pink tempera paint but eyeliner is on point.
This would play as our Plucky Heroine From Out Of Town is exploring the small countryside village she now calls home, taking note how all the villagers stare creepily at her from doorways and windows while she's determined to smile warmly at her new neighbours.
