Cyberpunk mood for this short one. Starts with some fat sounding horns for a few bars then dives right into an arp with a synth layered on for four bars. I add in another synth (Iridium) for a little more flavor for twelve bars and the final addition is some wood percussive sounds. Mix things around for the final eight bars and that's a wrap. Feels very cinematic.

I've been experimenting more with panning and playing with frequencies to try and control the mix along with ensuring no one sound is dominating a section when it should not. This weekly challenge is a good opportunity to goal set and have fun.

I dig the different rhythmic characters goes through - the main drive being a 3/4 figure, then giving way to the more spacious breaks with little trills that suggest 2/4 instead. That's my read on it! The little ticks also help to ground the rhythm periodically.

Appreciate the listen and feedback! The switching of time signatures for me comes from mashing a bunch of different sources together then figuring out how to make them place nicely. One day it may be intentional through gained knowledge of music theory but until then happy accidents rule.
