Blending Moods

By digtacos on March 22, 2026 4:46 pm

This song started out with some piano keys that I ended up killing about part way through completing the song. As the tracks started coming together the keys, which initial built it, started throwing off the balance so an arp from Iona was substituted in. The next sound you hear cutting in with the app is the iridium for some string darkness. Then queue the drums and horns which builds the mood and throws it back to the arp finish things off.

Such a great expansive arp to start off with. I'm getting an undiscovered Bruton library music record for sci-fi and then the beat drops.

The horns really make it build.

I'd love to hear it go off in another direction with a B section.

Much appreciate the listen and the feedback. Switching songs up to new directions is something I need to work on. I make short songs that would really benefit from this skill. I'll revisit this one based on your feedback. Also, thanks for pointing me towards Bruton Library! I've started listening to some of the music they've produced.

Bruton has some amazing weird records. Most of it's on You Tube.
