Thab Iruts Bith

I'm getting ready to merge the two generators, so it's mostly prep work. I'm not quite sure yet what the end result ought to be, but whatever it is, it's probably glorious.

I have been working on the other one a bit and listened to some of those results; not gonna lie, they're pretty rad. It should be ready by the time the next quarter comes by.

really relaxing ambient

Can't wait to hear what you got coming up, here's to hoping the merge goes smoothly

Neat to hear the progress you're making on this week-by-week. It's generating pretty cute timbres!

Can’t wait to hear the merged output! Super chill as usual.

Hell yeah, pumped to hear them both merged.

I like that moody flute's encounter with the resonating squares (those are square waves right?). The *wouieews* are becoming a little segmented leitmotif of yours. Nice track!

Cool, can't wait to check it out.  Would love to see a screen capture video of what you are doing.  I realize it is not like a live performance in real time, so editing would be required, but it would be really cool to see the software side and how you work on these generators.  All of the tones have become so warm and "crispy" and the flow of the music is very natural and melodic. You must be doing something right smile

Thab, to school yard friend: "YOU'RE SUCH A BITH!"

Teacher: "THAB IRUTS, YOU JUST GOT YOURSELF DETENTION, YOUNG MAN!"

Thab, to self: "dang it."

Let's hope it says that way for a bit, see if can keep the good vibes.

That's not going to happen. It's going to be like that, but worse.

To be fair, the only timbres being generated from the ground up is the synth, but I myself definitely like those best of all.

Me too. I'm not even sure what the outcome is supposed to be.

That's definitely one direction it can go.

They're just a simple generated synth, though the wouieews part of it is an LFO on a vocal formant filter, which is basically magic.

I'll do a recording of me running the thing and post it on the discord, but for the actual working on it, the best I can do is a tour since I need a bit more focus to actually get things in order.

You and your stories. Maybe I can give you a few prompts from the generator and you can write something with it, that'll be fun for 5 minutes or so.

Maybe I can sneak the other generator for next week, or splice it together somehow, but probably not.

The sporadic flute melodies are so nice and fit perfectly. The rhythm/bird tracks are still super sad tones... Sounds like the birdy wants to get out of the cage, but it can`t, to me. I pray for a good ending.

This is very cool progression... the contrasts between the glassy ticking and the harmonium style drones works fine. Also the funny falling notes add a lot to the mood and make it positively quirky.

Don't worry, the bird'll be free soon enough.

Thanks! I've worked hard on that progression.

Enjoyable sparseness and simplicity here.  Look forward to the next stage of evolution.
