I fixed the bass, and I added an open hi-hat every 4 bars for effect.

I'm going to work on some optimization next week.

The scale this week is Lydian Dominant, or 2 2 2 1 2 1 2. On an earlier test run I had 2 2 1 2 2 2 1, which you might recognize as the major, and I'm pretty bummed I couldn't use it.

Great stuff!

Are you familiar with Slonimsky's "Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns?" Definitely worth checking out.

I like when the second lead instrument layers over the first. Nice overall feel for this, gotta love the tritone

I don't, but I'm using the scale omnibus to figure out what scale was being generated. The melodic patterns sound cool though, if I can deconstruct them into meaningful progressions I can use them.
