Mi Uzedirse

So that arpeggio-like thing I was talking about last week, let's talk about that in a bit. I added another bird pattern. It's the same bird, it just comes by a second time to say a different thing. What a considerate bird.

Back to the arpeggio-thingy. I tweaked it so now it feels more rhythmically interesting and I'm thinking of expanding on it to change per section. The way it works is it starts out as a list of four sixteenth notes, then I randomly add 12 extra lengths equivalent to a sixteenth note to one of those four notes. This way it may end up with four quarter notes, but more likely it'll create some interesting skews.

For illustration, it's like this:
1: [16th, 16th, 16th, 16th]
2: [16th, 16th, 16th, 8th]
3: [16th, 16th, 16th, dotted 8th]
4: [8th, 16th, 16th, dotted 8th]
etc.

Give it a go yourself if you feel you need some zest.

Bweee bwooo, bwee bwee bwee bwee bwee bwee (bwee bwee bwee bwee bwee), bweee bweee bwee bweee bweeeeeeeee, bah bah bah buh duhhh...

Tweaking and tweeting as usual! smile

Gooskin moment on 1:28. Very well generated.

Good stuff smile I enjoy around the 1:45 mark especially

My favourite part is around 1min 57 when you sense that hint of resolution after the harsh strings/bagpipe solo in this sonic meditative environment. I really like the birds vivid fly-by in the harsh section, nice work!

For the most part it's Bwaa Bwooooooo Bwee Bwaa, but I like your takeaway too.

As per usual.

Yea, not sure what happened, but I really dig it. I guess it just found a good note in the progression.

Thanks! My best approach to transitioning between sections is to just not have a transition.

Leave it to the birds to break the monotony.

Hehe. It reminded me of Zelda, so I attempted to mimic that as a comment. Awesome track.

Oh wow.. that signal is so pure and all up in dat stereo field... The concept of this piece went a bit above my head; but I like the chords and the synth design...

I tried matching the bird call to that in online databases, but can't quite find a match. This illustrious bird may be the last of its kind. I'm hoping it lives a fulfilling life.

It's nothing too complicated, including the stereo business.

It's a highly trained one, I wouldn't expect you, or anyone, to recognize it.
