Le Emze Or

I upped the tempo on this one for you guys and added a bunch of tweaks. You'd probably be fine with the slow tempo one, but trying to wrangle the thing into playing nice music is driving me up the wall. So as a manner of meditation I threw the tempo way high and threw a few seagulls at a wall. I also replaced the fake flute with a less fake flute.

This is meditation, but hardcore.

I hope the seagulls are OK! I like the higher tempo.

From the whistling noise, I get the feeling that bird is 1) chucking things over the edge of a cliff and watching them drop or 2) Dropping crap on my car--because someone's added white and black droplets to it each day this week.

Hardcore meditation = throw seagulls at wall. Got it. Like the new flute!

Haha hardcore meditation, nice.  This one came out cool man, very different from the previous ones.  It sounds like it has much more of a human touch to it.

like it too. the birdys are nice, the bells warm and malletlike, the flute supernatural. smile

Birds reign supreme! Nice pacing and more connected in a natural cadence and more fluid play. Heyo, heard a space bird get a tweet in right at the close.

The slide whistle represents the seagulls falling once they've hit the wall. RIP in piece

They probably deserved it, they're also not real.

It's probably both.

Among other things, but throwing seagulls at a wall is definitely at least some form of hardcore meditation. Nothing like hearing the sound of nature as you physically unleash your inner problems.

The flute is a sample. I'm trying to get hold of a sound designer to see if I can do it with default LMMS plugins.

It does, but probably not in the places you might think. Most of the changes I did manually were the ones I could program in easily enough, but just couldn't be arsed to do so.

Thanks! Ironically, the flute's the most natural thing in the song.

Meditative music is shit in pacing, so every note counts. As I'm still trying to figure out the right notes, I compensated by upping the tempo. Next week should have something of a leitmotif going, hopefully.
The space bird is actually two regular birds on top of another in a trench coat.

Either that, or the sound they make during the trip to said wall.

That bird sounds like its from Runescape, nice.

Never played that, but I'll take your word for it. I bet someone will appreciate that bird.
