It's actually all parts, and it's one in each ear. Or it's supposed to, maybe a little too much reverb caused it to blend together, though honestly it's not going to be much better either way.

Good to know I've managed at least that much. One of the finer uses of a minor scale in my opinion.

That's one interpretation, though I imagine it to be like walking through the grounds, witnessing the opening act, whatever it is. Perhaps taking flight.

I like the precarious feel.  Off cantor with the chord changes (a little Danny Elfmanish). A sense of danger and tension. It kind of does feel a little Danny Elfman, though I'd like to think I take my inspiration from Radiohead. No band relishes more in their off chord changes than them; to them a chord progression doesn't necessarily stick to the scale as much as traditional music would allow.
Never heard Circus of Death, but let's be honest, there's a lot of words you can stick after "Circus" to make it sound very, very nasty.

It feels like it borders on a villains theme.. or like, the end of the world.. reminds me of thanatos from secret of mana, but maybe before his final plans

Yea, just a little maybe. Or, like, a lot. It definitely creates the atmosphere I was going for, but it really overrules the bits I wanted to emphasize and ended up somewhat messy.
