DISCO

By defensem3ch on February 11, 2024 10:28 pm

i've been scrambling today to magically pull something out of a hat - then i remembered while upgrading some old songs to the latest version of LSDJ, i've had this old song i never really considered finished. it's from the time among which the earliest complete songs were formed (like wow and fruit punch) and i played it live a few times but never found a way to develop it past its simple danceable 4 on the floor groove. so it's aptly titled DISCO and i present it to you in its now finished form, upgraded to LSDJ v9.4.0. enjoy!

The rapid-fire arps and the panning on the percussive elements are mesmerizing. Well done!

tis banger!  can see why this might be a tune you'd keep exclusively for connective tissue for livesets etc

This is intense! Really great track.

Disco Mech. Can't help but hear a bit of the X-men animated opening melody in there..

when those arps hit at 00:30 mm mmmm

BOTW! Banger of the week!!

Love how organic and expressive you make your LSDJ tracks feel―those "singing" leads feel like live performances.  The swirling stereos arps/perc are immersive, and none of it feels like it came from a 16-row grid.

Top tier production and composition... reminds me of DeadBeatBlast

The high pitched synth that comes in at 0:57 and continues harmonizing throughout is just delicious... I love what you've done here. Super full of movement and dynamic. Definitely makes me want to break into dance! Also, congrats on finishing such an old project!!!!

rad! some of these instruments bring me lots of nostalgia
