you and me back on earth

This is a prime example of how my projects spiral out of control. This started with me playing with a sample chain of little popping sounds I made with my mouth. (They sound sort of like a pattern on wood blocks in the final track.) My intent was to make something very sparse and abstract. But then the bass was a little funky and demanded a kick, which demanded a snare, which demanded funkier bass, which demanded some chords, etc. And (not so) suddenly... this.

A groove for the groove god! Accidental funk has happened to me before. The intrusive voice creeps up you like "what if I could bop my head to this"

The outcome sounds great! I love the sound design and arrangement on this.

Thank you!

A journey between funky arcades, I love it!

Hahaha I love that the percussion is mouth noises. This turned out great!

I'd kind of forgotten where that sound came from until I started thinking back to write the description! They were so important to me at the beginning, then a minor little detail. Thanks for listening!

major stank face here listening to da FUNK

really cool bonus area at 3min - kinda like you leave the stratosphere momentarily, but then: you and me back on earth!

very cool!

Thanks for listening! (And thanks for getting to that middle section; This one got a little long on me.)
