This little demo was written using a special version of LSDJ, ver. 5.3.5.4x, 4x referring to the fact that whatever tempo you have registered on the song screen actually runs 4x as fast. This was rendered from BGB and I wouldn't dare to make my DMG play it (at really fast tempos, even BGB can get pretty glitchy).

I became inspired to try it out after reading Paul's Tech Talk on the chipWIN blog. For an excellent and detailed explanation on 5354x, here is a link:

I would especially love to hear some feedback on this one (and if any of you new-LSDJ-version users know how to make a better WAV kick P L E A S E SHARE YR SECRETS).

Thanks, hope you dig. ^_^

Super interesting sound, has that GBC sound but weird. Very much good weird though. I think this would pair well with ash's track from week 2.

Mmm, it's cool to hear something made with Super LSDj 2: Hyper Fighting. It's a shame it's mostly only theoretical haha. Very sick effects though. I'd be happy to talk modern kick theory though. hmu any time.

wicked bass! Man I gotta try newer lsdjs

interesting usage of the 4x.  those arp blasts are crazy.  also can vouch for hypnos mastery of the wav kick lol.

This has some interesting textures in it for sure. Very cool. I am using the latest version of LSDJ but I've been rocking sample kicks. Haven't tried to make a wav kick yet. May have to try.
