Rattling

For this week's submission, I used the selected theme (no 4/4) with "insane mode" fully engaged. Bands like Unsane or Helmet (and the whole noisy AmRep stuff) have been quite an influence on me as a guitar player, so here's my hommage to that. Also my first band used to play a lot in odd meters like 21/16 and stuff like that, very weird things. Thus, a small bit of nostalgia is in this also.
Meters included are 5/4, 5/8, 7/8 and some compound stuff that i'm too lazy to count out. To challenge myself, I used a different guitar tuning (though you might not hear that in the riffing) and a bottle neck on one of the guitars. I also threw in the solo towards the end just for kicks …
I wanted to include vocals but got sick during the week, which made any adequate vocals impossible. Sorry folks. Equipment used: Telecaster, Sandberg Bass, Blues Blaster, Garageband, GB Amp Models. Drums were programmed, although I wanted to play them at first … "Mixed" and "mastered" (if you will) was done in the box as well. Thanks for listening.

Auditory assault (and I love it).  All these fantastic sounding Teles on here reminding me that I really need a Tele

Fucking great track!!  Great riffs and writing.

Great track!

awesome man! AmRep rules

Dude.  DUDE.  This is awesome.  Absolutely crushing.  I'm hearing some Tar in this one, but with an added quality of unhinged, with an in-your-face math-sleaze.  Great work.
