Gray Spark

The human brain doesn’t need evil to accept killing or kidnapping — it only needs a story. Once the brain decides an act has a purpose (survival, love, destiny, order), moral alarms quiet down fast. Meaning anesthetizes conscience.
Most people don’t cross lines because they’re violent — they cross them because the brain is exceptionally good at justifying itself.
That's the gray spark.
