The Beginning

Jamming on the Octatrack and OP1. Created the melody on the OP1 and the beat on the Octatrack, stuttering effects done by the crossfader on Octatrack. Recorded the output into Ableton - only one take! No editing, what you hear is live jamming with the 2 machines.
The key point here was to make a track in the freshest / shortest possible way, did not want to fiddle with details - have a concept, work on it and finish it, this was the idea behind this try. The whole track was finished in an hour. Obviously this has not been mastered...

Another fine track, and all the better for the quick turnaround. Not that you can really tell that it was made fast. V. nice.
