Sands of Time

This one started out with the bass sound and me messing around, then some droney sounds and it started to gain some atmosphere.. fleshed it out from there between Friday and Sunday, early mornings, a little bit at a time.
Seems like soundtrack music.

"Sands of Time"

lovely atmosphere, wish the drums were a bit more present in the mix.

I honestly thought they were too present. Can you tell me what you thought needed to be brought forward?.

This is a very low end energy piece and the kick gets lost. Even the cymbals are distant for the weight of the sub, that is just a preference if it is as intended, its just a bit faint to my aged ears. I listened on my computer using SD650 and on my desk through an RME fireface and my DT1990 Pro, and monitored using my Clarity M just for visual reference.

Some lovely textures here.

All sitting really nicely and blending.

I quite like the percussion taking a back seat.

mezmorizing atmosphere
