Yet another Korg Gadget tune. Here I have thousands of dollars worth of software and equipment in my studio, yet I'm doing WeeklyBeats almost entirely out of Gadget the last few months. This particular piece, I was showing a bandmate how Gadget's workflow goes, while in a Mexican restaurant that was playing 80's songs - we couldn't hear the audio from the iPad, I closed it up and then it was still on-screen the next day when I opened it up, and developed this track from my random button-mashings the day prior. Sounded kinda like "Blurred Lines" at first, hence the title. I hope you like this, it was about an hour's work off of a drum/sample line originally built when I couldn't hear it.
