Spent a couple of hours last week repairing the SH-101, its very old power switch was so unstable it behaved like a pitch bend knob. Had to travel pretty deep into the machine to get to the bastard, but de-soldering the old part and soldering in the replacement went surprisingly quick. Now the synth is good as new, and deserved a little riff in a track.

Breaks: Still getting to know the Alm Squid Salmpler functionally and sound wise.
Bass: Still trying to wrap my brain around MakeNoise DPO.

After all that, here's a wee jingle jungle. Recorded live to three tracks with a few edits in post.

Peace out. Thanks for listening!

Very nice jungle track! I'm glad to hear your SH-101 is feeling better. Some sweet tones on this one.

Must be damn fulfilling to be able to repair some hardware then to immediately make cool sounds with it! Really like the chops

Oh man what a classic beat, love the breaks and it's full of neat sounds.

Good breaks and bouncy bass, this is a fun song. Props on your repair and playing live!

Thanks, alonemusic! Definitely went for some classic sounds yeah! The mix is completely off, though, listening back to it. Hehe.
