Bought a second hand Volca FM! Installed Pajen firmware on it, made a bass patch in Dexed and transferred it to the Volca via sysex. Works great, yeah!

Quick acid'n'bass jammalamma to celebrate the events.

Nice jam. I never got on with the Volca FM for some reason. Does the firmware open it up significantly or is it more of quality of life modifications?

This is super groovy. Headnoddin' my way through it! heart

tight!

I mainly got it for using live, and then the Program Change function comes in very handy. And velocity is a must for them bouncy basses, of course. :-)

Whoa! Didn't know about the Program Change function. That's basically my problem with the thing. I will have to look at the firmware again. Hopefully works for the Volca FM mk.II

Volca FM MkII stille doesn't have Program Change, LOL. It's quite a bit more expensive, too. It fixed most of the other problems though, plus it has reverb and better polyphony.
