2000's Skinny Jeans

Was gonna continue working on the sound I had going on the other two weeks but my brother got an electric guitar and a pretty shitty amp recently so one thing led to another and now I got 2000's emo garage punk music (the stuff of my childhood haha)

Not gonna lie the writing on this is really minimal but the jamming is all there. Recorded the guitar on my phone and just processed the heck out of it. Was a nice change of pace, but I'm gonna go back to the other style next week!

Good mix, the bass, vocals and guitar layers live in their own frequencies. The guitar sound is great, phones have surprisingly good mics. I like the way you ended up the track with the build up.

The way you ended the track made me think back to similar songs I used to listen to with similar sorts of electric guitar sounds. I really liked your vocals on the track. It's a surprisingly good match given that the style feels so different. Awesome work.

The guitar sounds really good. These phone mics must have gotten a lot better. My phone is old, but I still use it as sort of a field recorder to sample cool sounds I encounter when I'm out and about, but there's definitely a loss in sound quality. Not really the case here. Vocals work really well, too.
