road tripped across the US this week from NY to Idaho where i am now residing! i did a field recording while driving through the beautiful mountains of Wyoming of the radio station that was advertised for nature updates. fortunately for us it was just beautiful noise.

i asked my friend to keep quiet for a few minutes while i recorded but she couldnt help but let out a "what the-" as we drove past all the breathtaking beauty of the mountains.

threw together this track inspired by this part of our trip 10 mins before the end of this week's uploads. mostly just the field recording, a soft pad made from one of my previous weekly beats, lots of disto, and of course reverb. enjoy! heart

Now I don't have to drive to Wyoming. Nicely done!

This makes me think about David Lynch's soundscapes for the return of Twin Peaks and, fun fact, there's an actual Twin Peaks in Wyoming! Good tension buildup big_smile

The two seasons of the original run have a more instrumental/jazz soundtrack (which is really good nonetheless). For the return (Season 3) which was released last year, there's a lot more of Lynch's experimental blend of noise, frequencies and electrical sounds. Both are very interesting (in my opinion) but I'd recommend watching them in order, at your leisure smile
