first lil track thing w the minilogue! just used one of the presets as i am figuring everything out. added valhalla shimmer + eq. might return to this song and fine tune in the future.

Great build up!

I have a minilogue as well and totally didn't recognize it on my first listen to your track. It's amazing how a musician's interaction, even with presets totally shapes the use.  I've never approached it in this way and you are getting some really beautiful sounds and melodies out of the same gear. Love the minimal approach!

PS, my go to sound on the minilogue is preset 1, switched from poly to unisison (or mono) and then slightly detune the oscillators with the parameter knob to the right of the patch selector. you will go from a dinky sound to a huge fat Roland Jupiter sound smile

Love this heart Can never go wrong with the Valhalla Shimmer.

Fantastic atmospheric rush. Some of the best ambient I've heard.

wow! thanks so much for the thoughful and thorough response. it truly is interesting to hear how different artists can use the same equipment but gets worlds of different results. it has certainly been interesting tackling the minilogue from an ambient lens. and i love your tip for your fave go-to sound! i will have to try this out thank you :-)
