Trying a few limitations in this one. Still all m8, wavsynth only, limited to 4 tracks, no fx (well, delay or reverb anyway). Wanted to do something that could be feasibly played on a retro or virtual console type thing. I keep messing around with GB Studio but hate composing in it so looking at something that would at least translate to it. I was aiming for a classic retro shoot-em-up kinda vibe. Only 2 mins and is intended to loop - hence the hard stop at the end - though I would suspect it would get annoying looped after a while! Oh, m8 choose the name randomly again and I’m keeping it.

Nice! You've definitely pushed the limitations. Sounds nice and full even without any fx. Definitely could see this on a GB shooter or something.

Nice melodies, the hard panning call responses are a nice touch.

Well that didn't work but I'm picturing a really happy yet satisfyingly pixelated frog.

Nice! Great authentic sound and awesome M8 work.

Nice! The limitations you set, work well this retro track.  Great energy, the bass and drum interplay is nice against the arpeggios.

Really nice chiptune bop! Shout out to the panned melody call and response wink

Good for one go around, needs moments of rest for repeated listening though.
