More semi-generative ramblings on the m8 this week. This time it’s all fm synths, used in the most basic way possible, mainly to serve up clean sine waves and a pad. There’s a simple piano inspired riff underneath all of it, everything else playing random notes (though I’ve set when they fire) apart from the pads which back up the main chords. I added some key changes to add some movement, not sure all of these work (it goes from c maj / c min / c maj / d maj / d min / back to c maj), but I might explore key changes more as does allow more movement and control to randomly selected notes.
